ALAN WOLFENDALE On 13th March 2017, Peacefully in Carrington Court Nursing Home, Alan passed away aged 92 Years. Reunited with his beloved wife Minnie, a much loved dad, grandad and great grandad. 'Alan will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends'. The family would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Wigan and Leigh community care team, especially Harmony carers, Dr Gill and Dr Hussain, Carrington Court Nursing Home and everyone involved with dad's care. Finally enormous thanks to Emma and Abbie from Bridgewater Funeral Service for their compassion, comfort, help and professionalism in caring for Alan and the family. The Funeral service and committal will take place on Friday 24th March 2017 in Agecroft crematorium chapel at 11:00am.Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu please can be sent for Newlife Foundation for disabled children.
