GEORGE THOMPSON Born 30th July 1953 On the 20th July George was taken suddenly in Wigan hospital aged 64. Beloved partner to Wendy, dad to Stephen and Peter, brother to Viv and Marl, father in law to Ami, grandad to Harry, Grace, Jessica and Oscar the dog and uncle to Janet, Catherine, Gillian and Wendy. Will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. "George, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure" The funeral service will take place at 3pm on Monday 30th July at St. Mary's church, Lowton and onwards to Howe Bridge crematorium, this will be a celebration of George's life, no black clothing.
