Police have launched a new appeal for witnesses to a fatal crash on the A6 at Blackrod.
Barry Britton, aged 48, of Highfield Road, Adlington, was killed in the crash just before 7.20am on November 25.
The car he was driving was one of a number of cars that collided with a double-decker bus on the A6 Blackrod by-pass.
Sgt Gareth Hull, from the Area One Road Policing Unit, said: "The collision occurred on a busy stretch of road and I am certain a lot of people would have been making their daily journeys at the time of the incident.
"I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision but not yet come forward to call police. I am especially keen to speak to the driver of a dark coloured hatchback, which has been captured on CCTV at the time of the incident. This driver could be a crucial witness."
Four other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after the incident. They have all since been discharged.
Witnesses to the collision should contact the traffic police on 0161 856 7201.
