IF only I'd thought of this piece of women's revenge I received by e-mail: "Cash, cheque or charge?' I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her wallet I noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse. 'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked. 'No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.' He indoors has nearly worn the Sky remote away. The back of it is all shapes and on rainy bank holiday Sunday I hit the roof after enduring watching about 50 programmes in the space of 10 minutes. Then he nodded off with it in his hand.
