PLEASE NOTE ALL PDF'S MUST BE IN VERSION 1.3

MONO
Please supply artwork as follows:
Please send PDF 1.3 (Portable Document Format) files or EPS (Encapsulated Postscript File).
The file extension MUST be present eg xxxxx.eps or xxxxx.pdf
(Where xxxxx is the file name or URN).
Please do not include any symbols in the file names eg . , ( ) / etc
AdFast should be used to send mono artwork as PDF 1.3 and is the preferred medium.
(Refer over leaf for details)
All none PDF files should include a Tiff preview. Please do not use TrueType Fonts.

FOUR COLOUR - Four plates cyan, magenta, yellow and black
Please supply artwork as follows:
AdFast should be used to send full colour artwork.
The final file must be sent via AdFast, a PDF 1.3 file is the correct format.
Please ensure that there is no transfer function or dot correction curves on the sent artwork.
All artwork contained within the final EPS file must be in a EPS format with a standard Tiff Preview
We cannot accept native software files.
All artwork sent electronically must be converted to C.M.Y.K,
we cannot accept any Pantone or other colour profile.
Please do not include any symbols in the file names eg . , ( ) / etc
All none PDF files should include a Tiff preview. Please do not use TrueType Fonts.

Electronic File Transfer

ADFAST
We recommend the ADFAST service as our preferred file transmission solution.
We readily accept all ADFAST sent files. Please do not use TrueType Fonts.

ADFAST at this time is a free service offered to anyone with an Internet connection.

GENERAL
For all our Newspaper products please use photographs which are
1) 200 dpi for full colour
2) 150 dpi for mono
Please note all photographs must be scanned size for size and not scanned over size and reduced down within the desktop publishing package. All photographs must be PDF 1.3 or EPS. If an EPS file is used it must contain a Tiff preview.
A DOT GAIN COMPENSATION CURVE MUST NOT BE PRESENT IN DIGITAL ARTWORK.
Do not embed more than 3 levels of EPS or PDF 1.3 within your documents. This can cause postscript errors. If more than 3 embedded levels are used in a file we can not be responsible for the output of the document at our press sites.
PLEASE DO NOT USE PARSED IMAGES IF YOU ARE SUPPLYING ARTWORK ELECTRONICALLY.
