A CHOIR with a difference is in need of new voices.

Bolton Cancer Voices, the North West’s choir for cancer patients and survivors, is appealing for new members who are in any stage of their cancer journey.

The choir accepts people from any geographical area as long as they can get to the centre of Bolton for rehearsals.

The choir will next appear at Bolton Food and Drink Festival and already have dates in their diary for 2015.

Karen Elliott, chair of the choir said: “We have a really exciting and challenging period ahead and want as many people as possible to share in this wonderful time.

“Not only is singing a great pastime but Bolton Cancer Voices provides a unique forum to meet with others in a similar situation and benefit from mutual support and understanding.

“The Choir has a really positive outlook and enjoyment is at the heart of all we do - though cancer bring us together it doesn’t define who we are or what we do.”

The choir meets on Monday evenings at 7.30pm until 9pm at the Friends Meeting House in Silverwell Street in Bolton.
