Eagle-eyed fans are speculating that Disney could make history in upcoming film Finding Dory with its first lesbian couple.
The trailer for the sequel to Finding Nemo appears to show two women walking a toddler in a pram.
When they stop to pick up the child’s cup, they’re shocked to find octopus Hank in the pram – which gives us a good glimpse at the couple.
Disney have neither confirmed or denied speculation.
Although the brief glimpse is inconclusive evidence of whether this is the animation studio’s first lesbian couple, many fans are already celebrating.
TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres, who is married to Portia de Rossi, voices blue tang Dory as she goes in search of her lost family in the new film.
Some people are threatening to boycott the appearance of the couple, the ridiculousness of which was quickly pointed out by other Twitter users.
Finding Dory is in UK cinemas on June 29.
