COMEDIAN Stephen K Amos kicks off his national UK tour this week at Forest Arts in New Milton.

Fresh from yet another Edinburgh Fringe run, plus touring Australia, New Zealand and the UK and recording Life: An Idiot’s Guide and What Does The K Stand For (BBC Radio 4), feel-good maestro Amos hits the road with his brand-new show Welcome To My World.

He plays New Milton on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Known for his warm-hearted wit and room-filling effer-vescence.

But some may have noticed that behind that crisp ’n’ clean exterior dwells an altogether different animal.

He’s a deep-thinking, problem spotting and question-asking sort of gentleman and Mr Amos believes the time is nigh to invite the public to meet this inner friend of his. He’s been expecting you.

Stephen’s got some questions and concerns and, to be honest, is getting a little peeved that people in 2014 are still reluctant to talk about racial and sexual inequality – at dinner parties anyway.

Audiences can still expect the genial host of course (he’s a comedian after all – making people laugh is his business), but with just the tiniest dash of subversion thrown in for good measure.

Stephen K Amos appears at Forest Arts on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 1 at 8pm. Tickets are £17 – over 16s only please.
