Mumford And Sons are heading back to the charts with their new album and single.
The band, who have recently ditched their trademark folk sound for a more electric approach, are set to top the album charts with Wilder Mind.
Midweek sales from the Official Charts Company put the band in top spot ahead of Blur, Sia, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.
Their last album, Babel, topped the charts after its 2012 release and sold more than one million copies.
Their latest single, Believe, has scraped into the top 40 and is currently at number 34.
The race for top spot in the singles chart continues to pit OMI’s Cheerleader against Wiz Khalifa’s See You Again, with the latter about 5,000 copies behind.
The highest new entry is likely to be Bristol-based deep house production duo Blonde who are set to go straight in at number 3 with All Cried Out featuring Alex Newell.
