Olympic gymnast Louis Smith is such a big Harry Potter fan he is decorating his spare bedroom in the movie theme.

He has also morphed into the bespectacled wizard for his latest project, which sees Sir Steve Redgrave doing his best Ferris Bueller shower scene recreation and Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington channelling her inner Bridget Jones.

The sports stars have each recreated famous scenes from popular movies as part of a campaign about “starting the day right” for Kellogg’s.

Apart from JK Rowling’s much-loved wizard character, the campaign also features Smith dressed as Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin in the recognisable aftershave scene.

Louis said: “My ultimate was recreating the Harry Potter scene because I’m a massive Harry Potter fan. When my agent told me I’d be dressed up as him eating in the Great Hall, I really thought he was winding me up!

“I’m doing up my spare bedroom at the moment in the style of Harry Potter, which keeps me busy. I’ve always loved sci-fi films with aliens and super heroes – I’m a bit of a geek like that.”

Retired Olympic rower Sir Steve is pictured wearing a wig styled into a Mohican for his scene from the hit 80s comedy, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, which starred Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck.

He said: “I think I have a wonderful head of hair but trying to get a Mohican out of it would be very difficult.

“I am not quite an old man but going very grey, so wearing a very dark wig shaped in to a Mohican when I used to be blonde was a bit odd when I looked in the mirror!”

The three sports personalities are Kellogg’s Team GB ambassadors for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and will be promoting the Kellogg’s #GreatStarts campaign.

The campaign will see them giving advice and tips to members of the public on how they can get a great start to the day and about achieving great things in life in general.

Kellogg’s are one of the official partners of Team GB for the Olympic Games.

The #GreatStarts competition is open to anyone over 18 and you can enter by sharing tips, pictures and videos via Twitter, Instagram and Facebook on how you get off to a Great Start using the hashtag #GreatStarts.
