Alec Baldwin has said that he will stop impersonating Donald Trump – if the president-elect releases his tax returns.
The actor tweeted the message after Trump took aim at his performance on Saturday Night Live.
Trump has repeatedly criticised Alec’s impersonation of him on the sketch show.
And at the weekend he tweeted that it was “unwatchable”.
Alec replied through the Twitter handle of the Alec Baldwin Foundation: “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop.”
The former 30 Rock star began impersonating Trump in the later months of the campaign and has continued the stint since the businessman won the election last month.
Trump has long said he would release his taxes following the completion of an audit.
