PETER Kay fans will be able to see the Bolton comedian host this year’s BRIT awards when they are broadcast live on ITV on Tuesday.
Peter, whose first solo standup tour for seven years sold out in a matter of minutes, will be mingling with the likes of Robbie Williams, Lady Gaga and Cheryl Cole.
Williams will be receiving this year’s Lifetime Achievement award.
The glitzy ceremony will take place at London’s Earl’s Court and live performances also include Jay-Z, JLS and Lily Allen.
Last year’s ceremony was hosted by Gavin and Stacey stars Matthew Horne and James Corden.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the BRITs, and will be the first time the Phoenix Nights star has appeared on the show.
