RELATIVES of the deceased whose ashes have been buried in the garden of remembrance at Bickershaw Methodist Church are being sought.
“The church and its gardens are becoming increasingly derelict, and we are very concerned that this must be very painful for the families and friends of loved ones whose ashes have been buried or scattered in the garden of remembrance,” said Christine Taylor.
“As the land is to be sold, we need to discuss the arrangements for the future.”
