HIGH school pupils cooked up a storm as part of a Tyldesley Rotary Club competition.

The club was on the hunt for representatives in Rotary International’s Young Chef of the Year contest and students at Fred Longworth High School were invited to prepare a two-course healthy meal costing no more than £10.

The meals were judged by teacher Anna O’Shaughnessy, with Alex Jones taking first place and Hollie Andrew in second place.

The pair will now take part in the regional finals at the Radclyffe School, Chadderton.
