THREE people were taken to hospital after a car crash yesterday afternoon.

A Fiat Punto and a Toyota collided at 1.30pm in Parr Brow, Mosley Common Road, Tyldesley.

A 50 year-old woman was cut free from one vehicle by firefighters.

She had suffered back and leg injuries and was taken to Salford Royal Hospital.

Two men, aged 30, suffered minor arm and leg injruies and were taken to Royal Bolton Hospital.

Police closed the road until the damaged vehicles had been removed.
