Sporting events boost Braiden fund

SPORTING fundraisers boosted the appeal to help Leigh toddler Braiden Lee Prescott.

On Saturday Leigh Centurions players and mascot Parky Pig were at the Thomas Cook travel store in Leigh selling signed photographs in return for a donation to help the three year-old, who is being treated for a rare form of cancer.

The travel agent’s staff enlisted the support of the two Co-op Travel stores who also raised funds Braiden and staff at Thomas Cook, Atherton did a three-day 100-mile sponsored indoor bike ride.
