Washing machine sparks blaze in Westleigh

Firefighters from Atherton and Hindley were called to the scene
AN electrical fault is thought to have sparked a blaze in a washing machine on Saturday afternoon in Leigh.
Firefighters from Atherton and Hindley were called to Taunton Avenue, Westleigh just before noon.
The appliance was burned and the kitchen damaged by smoke.
