Atherton schools enter book competition

Primary pupils at 10 Atherton schools have been invited to compete in the book cover design competition.
PRIMARY pupils at 10 Atherton schools have been invited to compete in a book cover design competition organised by Atherton Library Support Group.
To date four entries have been received from schools chasing prizes and a trophy donated by Paul Walsh of the Bolton Road Trophy Room.
"Pupils are being asked to choose their favoruite book and design an illustrated cover for it.
Entries must be completed by Easter and the winner will be announced the following month," said Library Support group member John Hodgson.
