Tyldesley teenagers in Blackpool band contest debut

TYLDESLEY Band's teenage second cornet players Mollie Stanley and Deneka Simmons made their contest debuts on Sunday in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
The Fred Longworth High School pupils gained valuable experience in a 77 band line-up in which Mollie, aged 14, and 13 year-old Deneka, assisted Tyldesley to ninth place out of 16 in the second section.
