Tyldesley Little Theatre goes Haywire
8:10am Saturday 16th March 2013 in News
The Haywire cast: Ingrid Folkard-Evans, Alex Clarke, Kaye Taylor, Carly Lomax, Connor Parkinson and Winnie Beatty.
THE latest production at Tyldesley Little Theatre is Eric Chappell's 'Haywire', a witty comedy that revels in presenting the sort of clever scenario, well defined character and sparkling dialogue that we've come to expect from him.
Alec Firth (played by Alex Clarke) almost regrets having an affair with his assistant (Ingrid Folkard-Evans), especially when he suffers from the arrival of a rapid succession of doorstep intruders.
Phoebe (Winnie Beatty) is a refugee from an old people’s home, son and daughter (Connor Parkinson and Carly Lomax) bring troubles of their own and Kaye Taylor appears as the long-suffering wife.
Successful TLT director Jenny Whur previously directed Chappell's award nominated 'Summer End', so everyone can expect an entertaining night of laughter, featuring great TLT performances from talented actors old and new.
The show runs at the Lemon Street theatre Mon, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, March 18,19,20, 22 and 23..
Information on tickets and details of all TLT productions are available from 01204 655619 or 01942 886908.
