8:20am Thursday 24th October 2013 in News
PEOPLE with skills, energy and commitment are needed to help steer an organisation working to get people active, creative and healthy.
Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust which manages services on behalf of Wigan, Cannock and Selby, is recruiting two new trustees, one of whom will chair of the Audit Committee.
WLCT chief executive Stuart Murray said: “We are looking for people who can help us achieve our mission and ensure that the organisation is effectively managed.
“Our board of trustees bring together a group of people with a diverse range of life experiences, offering their time voluntarily to assist us in our work to make a real difference to people’s wellbeing.
“If you’re committed to the provision of accessible services and feel you can help us achieve our vision and values, we’d like to hear from you.”
Further details about the role of trustee can be found at http://www.wlct.org/work-with-us/
