UGANDAN children are to receive Christmas presents thanks to a Boothstown school.
The Holy Family Catholic Primary School has donated 61 shoeboxes as part of the annual Operation Christmas Child appeal and £25 of cash donations to disadvantaged children in Uganda.
Head teacher Anne Farrell said: “It is a privilege to be involved with this wonderful charity.”
The Samaritan's Purse-run scheme is the world's largest children's Christmas project.
