VISITORS to a Leigh pub were treated to a right song and dance.
Wigan4Good fund, which provides small grants to community groups and charities, held a karaoke fundraiser at the Waterside Inn on Canal Street.
The fund worked in partnership with True Colours CIC, a charity which supports children with disabilities, to stage the singing extravaganza on Monday.
Tom Goodwin, development manager for the Wigan4Good fund, said: “We work to award small grants to local projects and groups but our budget is very limited so this is one of the first fundraisers we have held to try to top up the fund. It was great for some of the children True Colours supports to be able to get on stage to sing and perform.”
The fund is also holding a present-wrapping fundraiser at Spinning Gate this Sunday between 11am and 3pm.
