FATHER Christmas and his sleigh are busy touring the streets of the district, thanks to the Rotary Club of Astley.

The evenings and areas when he will be out and about are are:

  • Today, Thursday – Stour Road, Whimbrell Road, Abbey Road area
  •  Monday, Dec 16 – South Lane, Manchester Road, Green Avenue area 
  • Tuesday, Dec 17 – North Lane, Cranworth Avenue, Parkfield Avenue area.
  • Wednesday, Dec 18 – Prince’s Avenue, Ennerdale Road, Thirlmere Avenue area.
  • Thursday, Dec 19 – Crossgill, Manchester Road, Coldalhurst Lane area ​

The sleigh will also be at the following supermarkets on these dates:

  • Saturday – Tesco, Leigh. 
  • Saturday, Dec 21 – Sainsbury’s, Leigh.
  • Sunday, Dec 22 – Sainsbury’s, Leigh.
