FAMILY reunions don’t always go to plan, especially when home truths are revealed.

The newest production from Bolton Little Theatre, Entertaining Angels, tells the story of Grace, who has spent a lifetime on her best behaviour as a vicar’s wife.

But when her sister tells her a long kept secret, Grace attacks her with a garden fork and she has to defend herself with a lawn mower.

The reunion takes place in the vicarage garden after the death of Grace’s husband as the new vicar arrives to measure up for furnishings.

The warm, glowing, serious comedy by Richard Everett is showing at the Hanover Street theatre from Saturday, February 8 to February 15 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on February 9 at 2pm.

Tickets are £10 from The Albert Hall on 01204 334400 or www.boltonlittletheatre.co.uk.
