John Whaite won the Great British Bake Off
BAKING champion John Whaite is to host a special afternoon tea at Wigan and Leigh College.
Budding young chefs on the college’s Catering and Hospitality Course will bake cakes, pastries and deserts which will be judged by Great British Bake Off winner who will also be on hand to greet guests and take part in a book signing.
The March 8 event at the college’s Wheel Restaurant at the Parson's Walk campus in Wigan will start at 2.30pm and costs £14.95. To book call Matthew Silcock on 01942 761888.
