JOB hunting can be tricky but a Leigh school is aiming to give its pupils the best shot at it.
Bedford High School held an Employability Skills Day for year 11 pupils at Leigh Sports Village devoted to developing the skills they will need to help them find the ideal job.
The day was attended by a number of keynote speakers, special guests, employers and employment experts who focused on getting the young people to take action on their next steps after high school.
Head teacher Helen Phillips said: “In today's climate the competition for jobs, careers and the right places in further and higher education is as tough as it has ever been.
“We are here to not only guide them through the process but to arm them with the skills they will need and the right mindset to succeed.”
Back at the school year seven pupils were given a masterclass in Zumba in a mass dance session.
