ARE you an immaculate folder or handy with a hanger?

Then Wigan and Leigh Hospice needs you to help keep its new shop on Elliott Street, Tyldesley, in check.

Retail Manager Janet Fletcher has recruited around half of the forty volunteers she needs for the shop which is due to open in mid-March but is keen to hear from anyone else willing to give up their time to help out.

“Our shop sales are really important in helping fund our patient services, and opening our new premises in Tyldesley will give us a huge boost,” she said.

The shop used to be a Co-op and will sell furniture, clothing and general household goods. To donate, call the Hospice on 01942 525566.
