A MAN accused of biting another man's ear during a row in Astley and Tyldesley Miners Welfare Club has denied the allegation.
Jordan Newton, of Treen Road, Tyldesley, pleaded not guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to unlawfully and maliciously wounding Robert Crank with intent on April 14 last year.
Newton, aged 20, was further remanded on bail to await his trial, expected to last three days, beginning on May 6.
