A PROJECT to improve biodiversity in Mosley Common has seen bird boxes installed on the village green.
Mosley Common in Bloom gave four bird boxes to St John’s CE Primary School and Holy Family Catholic Primary School and asked the children to decorate them in any way they liked.
The boxes were then installed on the green on February 25 by Clr Barry Taylor.
Louise Cook from MCIB said: “the bird boxes look great and the children have done a superb job. Why not see if you can spot all eight boxes when you next visit Mosley Common?
“As spring is almost here, I’m sure it won’t be long until the birds take up residence, which will give added interest to the village green. Please let us know if you see any activity.”
