A COMPANY behind the refurbishment of an Atherton school has been rewarded.
Conlon Construction, the firm behind the £2.2 million refurbishment project at St Philips CE Primary School in Atherton, has received a gold award from the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
Conlon was praised for establishing a solar-powered insect study shelter, donating child-sized gardening tools, creating a bug house, introducing a cycle safety programme and a carefully planned traffic management system.
