A RESIDENTS' group can now fully enjoy its communal garden thanks to a Leigh company.
The Adactus Housing Association's Neighbourhood Fund has helped the Young at Heart residents group purchase garden furniture and plants for Kingsmead Court in Croft.
Dorrie Wilson, from the residents' group, said: "We have new benches to sit on and outside storage space for our tools.
"We are going to be hard at work now planting flowers for the summer and can't wait to sit out in the gardens to enjoy the view."
Samantha Hornsby, neighbourhood development officer at Adactus, said: "Kingsmead is a lovely scheme and the residents here really love to get together and do a bit of gardening.
"It's nice to help out a group who are making a real difference to the area in which they live."
