PRIMARY schoolchildren were treated to a day of inspiring workshops.
Prison officer Paul McGovern from the HM Prison Manchester Community Team visited Newton Westpark Primary School in Leigh to teach pupils that 'actions have consequences'.
Along with PCSOs Gabrielle Fitzsimons and Kevin Barlow, Mr McGovern covered topics such as stranger danger, cyber bullying and anti-social behaviour through a series of fun activities.
The children also met police dogs Charlotte and Jasper and experienced what it was like to live in a prison cell.
