A PUB in Lowton has reopened following a major refurbishment.
The Red Lion has benefitted from a joint investment of £210,000 by licensee Michelle Peak and Punch Taverns, one of the UK’s leading pub companies.
Situated on Newton Road, the pub was closed for six weeks whilst a refurbishment was carried out and reopened on Friday night.
The investment has created ten new jobs and has launched a new menu.
Michelle, who took on the pub in December, said: “The pub looks fantastic and I can’t believe the transformation. We also have a fabulous beer garden and will also be offering Sky Sports and BT Sport so customers can always catch the biggest matches.
“The investment will allow us to offer something for everyone and cater for families, ultimately providing a pub Lowton can be proud of.”
