PUPILS from a primary school pitched in to help clean up an area of Lowton.

The litter pick was organised by Lowton East Neighbourhood Development Forum (LENDF) and helped by 30 children from St Catherine's Catholic Primary School on Thursday.

The group helped to clean up the footpath that runs behind the school.
