A DRINK driver caught nearly three times over the legal limit has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
Christopher Brooks, of The Close, Atherton, admitted driving a BMW in Newbrook Road while having 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Brooks was fined £1,330, ordered to pay a £120 victim surcharge and £85 costs by Bolton magistrates.
He was disqualified from driving for two years.
