A TEENAGER from Leigh has graduated as a weapons engineer in the Royal Navy.
Kane Higham, aged 17, completed his phase two training with the Victory Squadron at HMS Collingwood and will now join his first ship, HMS Daring.
His service career choice sees him following in the footsteps of his great grandfathers who also served in the armed forces.
“I’ve had a great time here and on the course. I am now looking forward to going to sea especially having the responsibility and being able to do what we’ve been trained for,” he said.
