TAILOR-made activities aimed at boosting their career prospects have been enjoyed by pupils at Lowton CE High School.

The latest Enrichment Day gave pupils in years nine and 10 the chance to think about their next step through trips to colleges and universities.

Year seven students spent a day exploring the sights and sounds of the city of Liverpool while pupils who stayed at school took part in a ‘cultural carousel’ of activities including a chance to try Lacrosse.

Assistant head teacher Joanne Shaw said: “As a result many of our students have a clear idea of what they want to do when they leave school and we have put a plan in place for each of them to help them realise their ambitions.”
