Family on track to keep memory of Lowton teen alive
7:20am Friday 2nd May 2014 in News
THE family of a teenager who died in a motorbike accident will be out in force on Sunday.
Leah Davies’ mum, dad, stepdad and sisters will be among 50 cyclists who will set out from Hope Hospital in Salford, where Leah died in August 2012, at 11am to cycle 27.5 miles along the East Lancs route to the Walton Centre in Liverpool.
The Lowton family have raised more than £50,000 through their Love Leah fund for the Home from Home Appeal, which hopes to raise £1 million to build relative accommodation at the centre.
