A NIGHT of live comedy, music and theatre is being held in memory of a teenager who lost his battle with cancer last year.

Pic ‘n’ Mix has been organised by Josh Fletcher in support of his mum Julie who will cycle for 12 days through Vietnam and Cambodia to raise money for CLIC Sargent in October.

The charity supported the Atherton family when Josh’s brother Harry Holmes was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer in August 2011 and died aged 16, last year.

Josh said: “There will be a great mix of entertainment on the night and it is a great way to banish the Monday blues while raising money for a fantastic charity.”

Doors to the event open at 7.15pm for an 8pm start on May 12 at The Kings Arms, in Bloom Street, Salford and is for over 18s only.

Tickets are £5 and from kingsarmssalford.com or skiddle.com or from Josh on 07725 028330.
