YOUNG gymnast Bobby-Jo Boydell vaulted into the sporting spotlight with two podium appearances in the Phil Tighe competition at Warrington.
Representing Bolton Gymnastics Club the 10 year-old Leigh lad who attends Bedford St Thomas’ School was third on the floor and first on the 1st vault which earned him the title of joint under-10s overall champion.
Like his twin brother Bailey, Bobby-Jo is keen on football but he’s also hot on rugby as well as gymnastics.
Proud mum Sharon, who runs to keep fit, said: “His dad Dave was a member of the Bolton Gymnastics Club and Bobby-Jo likes all sports.”
