Junior pentathlon team celebrate clinching gold

AN ATHLETE has helped secure a gold medal at the Modern Pentathlon World Junior Championships.

Alice Fitton, aged 19, from Atherton competed with Francesca Summers and Jo Muir in Drzonków, Poland, on Saturday.

Despite the trio missing out on individual medals their cumulative scores saw Great Britain win the team gold.
