THE first annual general meeting of Leigh and District U3A is being held this week.
The meeting will take place at the Miners Welfare Institute on Twist Lane from 12.30pm on Friday and will be followed by a talk from the Citizen Scientist Team on health research studies.
The group has been going for a year has more than 200 members and around 30 interest groups.
