FIVE acts have been confirmed for the first Voices for Hospice Concert.

Organised by the Hindley-based Wigan and Leigh Hospice, the concert will be hosted by BBC North West Tonight correspondent Dave Guest at Robin Park Arena in Wigan on July 19.

Classically trained singer Janette Monroe, swing singer Scott Chapman, band Fourth Level and tribute act Lee Michaels will star alongside John Martin, best-known as the owner and singer at the former Riverside Club.

Fundraising manager, Maxine Armstrong, said: “We have managed to secure a fantastic line-up this year and I’m delighted they are all home-grown talents.”
