THOUSANDS of people partied in the park over the weekend.

True Colours CIC, My - Life CIC, Skils CIC and Sensoriel CIC organised the event, aimed at highlighting what the borough has on offer for people with disabilities and their families.

Held at Pennington Flash, 3,500 people browsed 75 stalls including cakes and crafts along with fairground rides, birds of prey and Shetland ponies.

The Lottery Winners and Jade Assembly entertained the crowds while there were performances from More Than Words drama company and Dance Syndrome.

True Colours managing director Marian Milling said: “It was fantastic to see so many organisations coming together and proving that partnerships and working together really does make things better for all.

“Many thanks to all the team involved for making the day such a huge success.”
