A PARADE of vintage vehicles, open top buses and schoolchildren will work its way through the streets of Atherton tomorrow, Sunday.
It will kick off this year’s Atherton carnival which is taking place on the Meadowbank playing fields on Gloucester Street.
The schoolchildren will be representing different countries in keeping with the day’s World Cup theme for the parade which starts at 12pm.
On the field there will be lots of different stalls and Danny Jubbs’ Curious Critters as well as plenty of activities including zorbing, climbing wall, pony rides, 5 a side football face painting and pottery.
Dj Kenny wil provide the music with dance performances from Atherton Dance School and Fit N Funky.
Various roads will be closed for the parade.
