Tyldesley man denies grievous bodily harm

A TYLDESLEY man has denied attacking another man at Liverpool Crown Court.

Peter Standish, of Shakerley Road, pleaded not guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm to Chad Rigby on January 19 this year.

Standish, 34, also denied a lesser alternative charge of assaulting Mr Rigby causing actual bodily harm.

He was further remanded on bail to await his trial which will begin on September 1 and is expected to last three days.
