AN AUTHOR is turning fairytales on their head in her latest book.
Lowton cleaner Alicia L Wright’s second book Miss Prince, which is all about how vampires do not belong in fairytales, has been published.
Alicia, of Slag Lane, Lowton, said: “It started in 2005 when I wrote a story about a girl who lived in a fairytale world, but she was just a greengrocer who wanted to be an adventurer.
“In the first novel, Eggs, Butter, Sugar and Disaster, I am poking fun at fantasy worlds.
“In this one, it is about fairytales.”
The 30-year-old also produces a comic strip called Vampires Don’t Belong in Fairytales.
