STUDENTS from Bedford High School have taken time away from lessons to learn a little more about life.
Young people from all year groups took part in different activities aimed at getting them to think about the bigger picture and the world beyond the school gates as part of an Enrichment Day.
Representatives from organisations including Greater Manchester Police, the NHS and the RAF came to speak to year 10 pupils as part of a careers fair.
Younger students took part in a series of activities while others visited Salford City College.
Head teacher Helen Phillips said: “Enrichment Day at Bedford is all about opportunities. It’s about realising what the opportunities are and then making the most of them.
“Our young people are at the beginning of an exciting journey through life and we are here to support them and make sure they get off to the best possible start.”
