A CHARITY bake a cake competition is being held to raise money for dementia services.

Have Your Cake and Eat It is being held at Prospect House, on Bolton Road in Atherton, on September 6 from 10am until 4pm.

It will cost £2 to enter a cake before they are sliced and sold to raise funds for dementia services and cafes in the borough as part of the Dementia Buddy scheme.

There will also be a barbecue and decorate a cake competition for children, with awards for the winners.
